SID simulator

SID is a framework for building computer system simulations.
Specifically, a simulation is comprised of a collection of loosely coupled components. Simulated systems may range from a CPU’s instruction set to a large multi-processor embedded system.

簡單來說就是拿它來做軟硬體的模擬啦….
SID 的source code 一直都無法從Redhat 的CVS server抓下來.
後來Google 教我從這裡也可以抓到SID 的source code 喔.

    我嘗試將 SID Simulator 在 Mac OS 10.6.3 下編譯
    可惜失敗
    問題好像是在 compile TCL/TK 的 步驟

    我沒有在Mac 底下試過, 我在Linux(CentOS 5.2)上編譯是ok的. 不過在linux下, 建議安裝tk-devel 的package, 不然SID 裡面有一個很強的component TK-Bridge 不能使用.
    改天我也在Mac下試試看.
